These are foundation paper piecing (FPP) patterns. The pumpkins include options to sew using two different methods: FPP alone, or a simplified FPP template with appliquéd faces.
Best suited for quilters with intermediate paper piecing skills. This pattern assumes that you know FPP and appliqué (optional for the Jack O' Lanterns) and does not teach these techniques. If you’re new to either, don’t be afraid to try ... watching a few YouTube videos can get you started.
