Pumpkin Quilt Block Pattern - PDF

Pumpkin quilt blocks for Halloween! This is a paper piecing pattern featuring two little jack o'lanterns. They can look sweet or spooky depending on your fabric choices.

This pattern includes templates for two blocks, with options to sew using two different methods: FPP alone, or a simplified FPP template with appliquéd faces.

Fabric requirements

- Background, 12" x 12" piece

- Pumpkins, 10" x 10" piece for main colour (or 6" x 8" for the simplified version), plus scraps for face and stem

Best suited for quilters with intermediate paper piecing skills. This pattern assumes that you know FPP and appliqué and does not teach these techniques. If you’re new to either, don’t be afraid to try ... watching just a few YouTube videos can get you started!
